Parental Help Needed!

We are having a problem with our oldest son and I think I need some advice. All week he has been humming "The Victors." Truth be told, it's a catchy tune, but this is "Michigan Week" for OSU, so to have my firstborn humming the fight song of the "team up north" throughout the week is a bit unnerving. I'm at wits end! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried a good old-fashioned physical beating? Perhaps with a wooden spoon or a hairbrush? I've heard that does the trick.

Disclaimer: I don't have kids.

Hmmmmm, not sure the punishment fits the crime. Remind me never to let you babysit my children. ;-)

I had to laugh when I read this comment - it was my own initial response. Its a good thing OSU won. I expect you to stomp out this behavior, Rus!

Too right! Now he's doing it just to elicit my response! How about that Jim Tressel? He could have scored at least one more touchdown but instead showed respect to Lloyd Carr. He's a better man than me. I couldn't help but think of Woody Hayes who has one of the best (alleged) quotes ever in this rivalry. When asked why he went for a two point conversion in the final seconds of 50-14 win over Michigan, he responded with, "Because I couldn't go for three." I suppose it would have been contrary to Tressel's character, but I would have loved to have seen a last second touchdown in Ann Arbor.
